Samantha Grenell-Zaidman

Samantha Grenell-Zaidman will graduate this May with a Masters degree from Manhattan School of Music, where she studies with Ashley Putnam. While at Manhattan School of Music, Ms. Grenell-Zaidman has performed the roles Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Adina in scenes from L’elisir d’amore, and Susanna in scenes from Le Nozze di Figaro. She also covered the title role in Lukas Foss’ Griffelkin and performed the role of Joy in the Opera Outreach production The Araboolies of Liberty Street. Ms. Grenell-Zaidman earned her Bachelors degree in voice at Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied with Mildred Miller. Ms. Grenell-Zaidman performed a variety of roles at Carnegie Mellon: Miss Wordsworth in Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring, Elvira in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri, and she covered Cunegonde in Candide. Samantha Grenell-Zaidman also performed Mabel in Pirates of Penzance with the College Light Opera Company in Cape Cod.
