Audrey Moise
soprano
New England Finalist 2012
Audrey Moise is a graduate student in the Thornton School of Music at University of Southern California. She currently studies in the vocal studio of Cynthia Munzer. Within her first year she was casted as “Arminda” in Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera. Currently, in her second year she has performed “Papagena” in Mozart’s Die Zauberflote.
The soprano’s passion for music and performing begin at the tender age of four. With the conviction that her voice was a divine gift worth cultivating, she went on to receive formal vocal training at Washington Adventist University (Takoma Park, MD), with vocal teacher Medea Namoradze-Ruhadze, obtaining a double degree in Music Vocal Performance and English Pre-law. She has had the privilege of performing throughout the US, Europe, and South Africa under the tutelage of both conductors Dr. James Bingham and Dr. Virginia Rittenhouse. Such soloed repertoire includes sacred works from Vivaldi, Mozart, Schubert, Handel, Rutter, Bingham, Vaughn William, and Haydn. Moreover, she has been a participant in numerous recordings. Other performances involve concerts at Carnegie Hall conducted by John Rutter and other arenas such as The National Gallery of Arts. Her artistic motto is to use her gift to uplift, unite and inspire.
