Christopher McBeth

2005 Regional Judge

Mr. McBeth is the Opera Artistic Administrator for Utah Symphony & Opera where he oversees all operations directly related to opera productions. Mr. McBeth takes part in planning repertoire and choosing conductors, directors and designers for all opera productions and singing artists for both operas and symphony concerts. Additionally , Mr. McBeth auditions for and directs Utah Symphony & Opera’s Ensemble Program, a nationally-recognized young artist training program for singers and pianists. Prior to working for Utah Symphony & Opera, Mr. McBeth was the Director of Production/Artistic Administrator for Fort Worth Opera and before that worked in the Marketing, Production and Artistic Administration departments for Houston Grand Opera. Mr. McBeth received a Bachelor of Music degree from Simpson College and a Master of Music degree from Baylor University.
