Luretta Bybee
2009 Connecticut District Judge

Luretta Bybee, a mezzo soprano, has performed Carmen, Dalila, Fricka in Wagner's Ring cycle and Benjamin Britten's Lucretia in both the United States and abroad. She started her teaching career at the University of Michigan in 2002 and then joined the faculty of New England Conservatory in 2004 where she maintains an ongoing voice studio while continuing her performing career. She just made her debut as Klytaemnestra in Strauss's Elektra with the Seattle Opera.
