Hansen Skinner

Meredith Hansen Skinner, a Boston native, is currently an intern at the Opera Institute at Boston University and a student of Susan Ormont. Recent perfomances with Opera Institute include Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium and Despina in Cosi Fan Tutte. Ms. Hansen Skinner received her undergraduate training at the Eastman School of Music and the University of Connecticut where she appeared as Antonia in Les Contes d'Hoffman and Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring as well as a soloist in the Bach B Minor Mass, the Messiah and Mozart's Vespers des Confessores. She has also performed as the soprano soloist in Mozart's Requiem and Haydn's Creation, both in Hartford, CT and Elijah with Boston University. Other recent performances include the soprano solos in Carmina Burana and Susannah in Le Nozze di Figaro with the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra.
